Dear Pinterest...

I've noticed how Pinterest has become extremely viral and mainstream lately and I thought I'd share this letter via Link With Love. I'm just spreading the word.

 

HOWEVER, here's another little note. Just as an afterthought...

 

Everything created had to have started from something... I, personally, believe that you can be inspired by your surroundings and create something uniquely your own. By applying those inspirations to your work and transforming them into something different, a "new" idea can emerge.

Photo a Day Challenge : January 2012

I confess, lately I've been really addicted to the Instagram photo app on my phone... I think it's because I stumbled upon this fun "photo a day" challenge! See list below. Everyday of the month you are challenged to photograph something related to that particular day's topic. You can be as creative or literal as you want. What would you take a picture of for the word "sweet"? It's fun to see what other "Instagrammers" come up with for that day. It's not a contest or anything, it's just a fun little daily photo project.

The 2012 Sketchbook Project (via Art House Co-op)

These are a Few of My Favorite Things

My husband must know I adore Anthropologie or something cause everything he got me for Christmas was from there ;-) First off, I'd just like to say, I love their branding and identity overall...but their current tissue paper is to die for. I know I'm a nerd.

 Ok. Here are the goodies he got me!

*By the way, just a side note regarding the pictures above: I'd rather eat out of a bowl than off of a plate any day. Aren't these bowls just GORGEOUS? Plus they make for pretty pictures when you're photographing what you're eating hehe...So don't be surprised if you see them on my Instagram sometime soon ;-P

50 paper placemats that you can doodle on! Me and Ellie Bellie have already eaten off of some ;) We still have yet to draw and doodle on them...

These products below weren't gifts. They're just awesome finds that I tried out for the first time (over the holidays) and happened to LOVE. I'll definitely be purchasing them again, once I run out.

This stuff smells SO good. It's for those lazy days...we ALL have 'em! Yup. All it takes is a quick spray and you're good to go! It's only $5.99 and it was on sale at Kroger for only $2.99 (using your Kroger Plus Card)...STEAL!

My hands have been been super dry lately, probably because of the weather. Just rub this hand salve on (especially your cuticles) and again, you're good to go!
